Leichte und weiche 50er-Jahre-Sommersandalen

Diese weichen und femininen Sommersandalen sind vom zeitlosen Stil der frühen 1950er Jahre inspiriert. Sie sind aus Vollnarbenleder gefertigt und verfügen über eine offene Spitze, ein schlichtes Perforationsdetail und ein wolkenförmiges Muster entlang des Vorderblatts. Die 1,4 cm hohe Plateausohle sorgt für dezenten Halt und Komfort, und der Knöchelriemen mit Metallschnalle bietet Stabilität und Verstellbarkeit.

Unter der glatten Lederinnensohle befindet sich eine dicke Schicht Silikonpolsterung, die für ein weiches und stützendes Gefühl bei jedem Schritt sorgt. Diese Sandalen sind perfekt für lange Tage am Strand oder gemütliche Spaziergänge entlang der Promenade.

They are beautifully designed but their manufacture needs to make the product stronger and more durable with stitching rather than glue. Keep product 100% leather. Manufacture in USA rather than China.

Hi Sharon. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on our Joy sandals, I'm happy to hear you like them. As you say our shoes are glued, if we were to make good year welted or stitched shoes, the price would be at least twice as high, so it's a balance. We focus on making sustainable and durable shoes that will last for many years, which is also what we hear from our customers. If the shoes have laces, eyelets or heel caps we always provide an extra set in all of our shoe boxes, so the shoes can last for as long as possible. Our Joy sandals have rubber soles, as they are based on an original pair of sandals from the 1950's and they have rubber soles. To stay as true to the original design as possible, we have chosen to make them with rubber soles as well. Most of our other models have leather soles, and if you're looking for leather soled sandals and shoes I'll be happy to guide you. If you're ever in doubt about what material the sole is made of, you can always see it in the description on the product page.
Our shoes are designed here in Denmark, and we work with a small shoemaker in southern China that specialises in handmade leather shoes. The team is highly skilled, with every employee having over five years of experience. Our partner provides a great work environment, offering fair wages above the local minimum, paid holidays and strictly no child labor - something that’s very important to us, which is also reflected in the price. The company is run by a kind and inspiring woman who shares our values for quality and ethical production. All our shoes are carefully designed and tested here in Denmark to meet our high standards. Our shoes are made of full grain leather, the best leather you can get, and they are meant to last a long time.

Lovely shoes, but in need of narrow-sizing

Lovely shoes, and very well made, I went up a size from what I usually am, and the length was perfect. However, I found that they were too wide for me, even though I have narrow, vintage-sized feet.
The colour was also darker in real life than I expected, however still quite nice.
Would recommend Memery for people looking for quality, vintage inspired shoes, however, know that if you have narrow feet, they may or may not fit you.

We always strive to capture the most correct color on the product pictures, but it can be difficult to capture the exact color. Sometimes it also differes a bit from the light.
