1940er Alltagsschnürschuhe - Nougat Brown - Emily

OMG I am so in love. Wore them for a couple of hours with no issues. So comfy, so beautiful, I'm in Australia and delivery was great and simple. Absolutely smitten, was worried the might rub, but I could wear them all day.

Bought these for work in an office. I’m getting a thin rubber sole attached professionally to help them last longer, but I was immediately impressed by how comfortable and lovely they were. Can’t wait to wear them! They were shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Even though I bought these with the intention of having one pair of shoes that I use for all things professional, I already have my second pair of memery shoes picked out. Beautiful workmanship!

These shoes are beautiful and you can tell are wonderful quality by the solid construction and thick leather. They arrived with extra laces as well as heel caps which is such a nice touch. Be sure to remove the plastic protective liner from the bottom of the shoes!
In terms of sizing, I went by the provided size chart and they were a bit too small. I am usually around a 7.5 / 8 US size, so I took a gamble and ordered a replacement pair in size 7 and they fit great! Also- the wide width is truly wide enough to fit my feet so I really really appreciate that. Looking forward to purchasing other styles!

I've been wanting a pair of these for so long and they are, without question, some of the most beautiful shoes I own! While I've been breaking them in, I keep pausing to look at the incredible cutouts in a mirror! They're sturdy, well made, and I know with proper care they'll last a very long time. I ordered based on my foot length, and I do believe they're the proper size for me, but I really wasn't expecting them to be quite so narrow. Despite being tight in width, they still flop a bit on my heel, and I find the insole (not the outer leather sole, that's fine) quite slippery, especially with stockings. If I were to order these again, I think I might prefer to go up one size and use thicker insoles as the shoes stretch out. :)

I have one foot slightly larger than the other which means I'm often forced to wear the wrong shoe size - the extra width on these has meant that I can wear these comfortably wth no rubbing or any tightness. The only downside is the leather sole in the rainy British climate is a drawback but a quick trip to Timpsons for a thin rubber sole and now they're good for all year round:)

The shoes are wonderful. The quality is high, the smell really nice and they are so comfortable. What is more, I am totally thrilled that the shop like Memery exists. Thank you for the idea as well as courage to fulfill it. Why did I give only 4 stars? Despite measuring really carefully the shoes are half a number to number bigger. I tried to wear the shoes with Matilda socks- better but not enough. I put heel pads inside but still it is not enough. So I need to try some thicker pads. It did not look like that when trying the shoes at home. Even in the case of returning I would have paid 20€ for the shipping. So now I would like to order another shoes but I struggle with the size.

Lovely- I also ordered some sandals. Shipped very quickly, which was awesome. Will definitely order something again in the future.

Excellent materials and quality construction make these shoes comfortable from the very first wearing. I plan to return to invest in more shoes from this company.
