Bought these as a birthday present for my husband. He is delighted beyond words. They fit perfectly with his dress style and the quality of the leather is something he's never met before. Two supremely happy customers, he and I both.😊

These are clearly well-constructed, from high-quality leather. They definitely run small (in terms of US sizing: I'm in the US, and size 11 is usually slightly roomy for me, but these are very tight).

I'm not too worried about the sizing, though, because I'm very confident that the supple leather and historically accurate construction means that they'll break in quite nicely.

The ‘Everyday leather boots for men aged 20/30 – dark brown’ are absolutely beautiful, lightweight and wonderfully crafted dream shoes!
I am currently breaking them in at home. They felt a little tight at first, but that changed after a few minutes – you just have to give the shoes a little time to adjust. The leather is wonderfully soft and of excellent quality! The insides of the edges are lined with super-soft calfskin.
A shoe that is sure to be comfortable to wear in summer too! – So light and delicate, yet sturdy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐➕💫

Luckily I was able to receive another pair of boots because the other one in smaller size didn’t fit quite well. Great Service!

But when I received the larger pair I instantly noticed that they are extremly comfortable. They fit perfectly by the first minute.

My Master shoemaker was impressed by how well these boots are made.

Here's my out-of-the-box review, having just put these on. I found that the "Tom" boot runs small and narrow, probably because it's based on a vintage shoe design. Having wide feet, I found I had to go up a size (13 instead of 12). They are very hard to put on at first because the leather is thin (not to say insubstantial or too delicate, just thinner and floppier than my modern boots). I had to remove all the lacing, put the boots on that way, and then re-lace them to get them on. You will definitely need a shoehorn, at least at first, and the boots don't have speed hooks for the top couple of eyelets like modern boots so they may take a bit longer to put on. That being said, I suspect these boots are going to fit like a glove and be very comfortable once they've been worn a bit and broken in, because the thinner leather will mold to my foot. A word to the wise -- they are very slippery at first because of the smooth leather soles. Mette kindly put in an extra set of laces and a small piece of sandpaper to roughen up the soles, and I suggest you do this once you are satisfied with the fit. Lovely boots and I think I am really going to like wearing them with my period suits.
