Yes, they are cute. Yes, they are comfortable. But, the soles are man made (read plastic) and there is a sticker on the sole that says «designed in Denmark, Made in China ». So, the price is just not justified. Disappointing.

Our wedge sandals have rubber soles, as they are based on an original pair of sandals from the late 1940's and they have rubber soles. To stay as true to the original design as possible, we have chosen to make them with rubber soles as well. Most of our other models have leather soles, and if you're looking for leather soled sandals and shoes I'll be happy to guide you. If you're ever in doubt about what material the sole is made of, you can always see it in the description on the product page.
As you say, our shoes are designed here in Denmark, and we work with a small shoemaker in southern China that specialises in handmade leather shoes. The team is highly skilled, with every employee having over five years of experience. Our partner provides a great work environment, offering fair wages above the local minimum, paid holidays and strictly no child labor - something that’s very important to us, which is also reflected in the price. The company is run by a kind and inspiring woman who shares our values for quality and ethical production. All our shoes are carefully designed and tested here in Denmark to meet our high standards. Our shoes are made of full grain leather, the best leather you can get, and they are meant to last a long time.

I first purchased the size 45 boots but since one in size 46 appeared, I changed them for a bigger pair. The customer service was really nice and they gave me no issues on it. When the bigger pair arrived, they fit almost perfectly and they are incredibly comfortable from the moment you first try them on.
It looks even better than in the website, so I really recommend it if you like dressing in 1930s style. The leather is very soft and supple, it is quite warm so perfect for the winter (definitely not for the summer). I would say the sizing runs a bit small, so check out the sizing guide just in case. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase, would buy again.

I love these shoes.
I am on my feet all day at work, my feet work hard. I have wide feet (bunions 😩) so comfort and quality are important to me.
These shoes are so comfortable I forgot they were new. Plus the jewel colour and vintage style make even my fat misshapen feet look good. I normally try to hide them in big boots but in the summer with a dress, or for dancing, or even just because…I will wear these and feel great 😊. I’m already eying up the other styles and thinking about which ones I can get next.
Not cheap but beautifully made, excellent quality, arrived in reasonable time and a joy to wear.

Super cute and comfortable sandals. I ordered a size larger than usual because the site says "Some customers go one size up compared to other memery styles" and found they were too big, so I exchanged for my usual size. The exchange was easy and very quick. The new pair fit perfectly and I'm very happy with them.
